Our design evolves

With the welcome addition of EGA (Eckersley Garden Architecture) to our design team, our Food Forest design has evolved! The “Green Room” – an all weather area in which VASS residents can enjoy the garden with their family and friends- is now larger and central to our forest design. Having heating and being partly roofed, we will be able to enjoy the forest all year round. Further modifications and considerations on our original concept design, include wider paths and areas for sitting with our families. The “inner deck” has been removed, as this will create too many edges for wheelchairs to come off (I have had to have the fire brigade out to get me out after going over the footpath edge in our current garden) Exciting changes!
